Senior Project 2022

Hi there! I’m Sophia. This photo isn’t  the best representation of me because the majority of the time I have clay on my pants and coffee on my shirt. I throw pottery for fun, and teach classes for beginners in Bentonville. I’m also a barista at a local coffee shop in Bentonville. I have a lot of side hobbies and hustles, but I love each of them for their exploration of art and all of its different mediums. Graphic Design has been hard for me because it is so vast and complex, but it has taught me a lot about how design is implemented in everything we do.



I’m designing a book series for beginners that is linked to a subscription program that sends them monthly boxes. It’s a step by step program that walks them through the process and teaches them in terms and materials that are easy to grasp. The hope here is that anyone can feel safe and comfortable pursuing a very intimidating craft.
