Howdy, I’m Jessica :0 I love illustration and drawing things that bring a smile to people’s faces. My thesis focuses on bringing the autistic woman’s experience to light in typical media as it’s not spoken about or portrayed. As an autistic woman myself, I found that I wanted a representation of who I am, as well as making it more well known that autism can look like many different things in people.
Finding out about my autism and wanting to provide positive representations of autistic women in the media, through illustration.
